Dr. Beth Garcia is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Education at West Texas A&M University. Dr. Garcia received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from West Texas A&M University and her Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. She currently serves at the Director of Teacher Preparation, Advising, and Certification Officer for the Educator Preparation Program at West Texas A&M University.
Dr. Garcia’s list of publications includes both pedagogical and theoretical research in the fields of Bilingual/ESL education, literacy, refugee populations, linguistic analysis, and experiential learning.
